A gorgeous treat for Christmas time or any tea time really ! It's a fruit cake, with a topping of cherries and almonds. It is not too stodgy or fruit heavy. Plus, once it has been eaten, you will have a lovely metal container left to use as you wish. I use it to put cotton reels in !
