Description
Charcoal Merino wool cardigan is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Fair Isle patterns, featuring intricate designs on the front yoke and sleeves. The cardigan is named after James Brudenell, 7th Earl of Cardigan (1797–1868), who helped popularise this style in the 19th century. Known for his role in the Charge of the Light Brigade, Brudenell’s name became associated with the knitted jackets worn by British officers during the Crimean War. This cardigan is crafted in a relaxed fit, ribbed shawl collar and faux leather buttons, making it a stylish addition to any wardrobe. Made in Ireland.
