Sky Battle Board Game

Tally-ho! An aeronautical twist on the game of ‘Battleships’: a nostalgic board game which pitches two squadrons of Second World War RAF and Luftwaffe aircraft in a tactical, tabletop dogfight. Use the grids on the folding playing board to place your aircraft and then mark where your ‘shots’ at your opponent hit or miss using plastic counters; the first to shoot down eight enemy planes is the game’s fighter ace! Unlike traditional ‘Battleships’, a game which developed during the First World War, ‘Sky Battle’ includes an aerial element – overlay aircraft pieces to reflect planes occupying the sky at different altitudes. Presented with nostalgic illustrations and including two facsimile War Department Aircraft Recognition posters for the German Lutfwaffe and British RAF planes in play. Take to the skies and re-enact your own Battle of Britain.
