Celtic Knot Puzzle

A tactile wooden puzzle inspired by a Celtic knot motif; found throughout Celtic and Insular art, including the 8th century Lindisfarne Gospels and 9th century Book of Kells. Formed from three interlocking wooden pieces, the puzzle challenges you to take the ‘knot’ apart and then assemble again. Stained in three antique shades, the puzzle requires five steps to untangle. Thought to symbolise the eternal elements of earth, fire and water, the puzzle also includes an intricate interlaced pattern of knots making it both decorative as well as dastardly to solve. The box includes an illustrated scroll showing the solution if you are stumped.
