Caesar's Calendar Puzzle

A daily puzzle to challenge, confuse and confound: arrange the 10 specially shaped puzzle pieces within the frame, to reveal the day of the week, the day’s date and the month, viewed in three apertures. Each day will require a different configuration of puzzle pieces to show the day’s date; providing over 365 days of puzzle pleasure. Named for Julius Caesar (100-44 BC), the Julian calendar came into effect from 1st January 45 BC. Accounting for leap years, it was used widely until 1582 when the Gregorian calendar was introduced, correcting defects in the Julian calendar’s accounting of days. With numbers 1-31, the twelve months of the year and the seven days of the week to uncover you will enjoy working out the date even on leap years. A fascinating one-player puzzle and a great gift to grace any desk or coffee table.
