A vibrant jigsaw puzzle celebrating zoological studies and illustrations from the Museum archives. From an illustration of a hedgehog to a diplodocus, the jigsaw design features details of 12 diverse creatures; each set against bright and colourful backgrounds. Includes an illustration of a giant panda from an 1870s publication by Henri Milne-Edwards (1800-85) and Alphonse Milne-Edwards (1825-1900); a ring-tailed lemur, 1808, by Jean-Baptiste Audebert (1759-1800); a detail of a lithograph from 1883 of Josph Wolf’s (1820-99) painting 'Felis Tigris'; and Pavo cristatus, Indian peafowl, by Pieter Cornelius de Bevere (1733-81). Full of exquisite details, the jigsaw puzzle includes an image guide and a space-saving, compact box for storage.

This one was very hard, but also very satisfying to do. As usual it took me a couple of days, but I only do half hour at a time.
