Duck With Orange Pâté

Pâté was a favoured delicacy among European nobility in the 16th and 17th centuries, as detailed in John of Vandenesse's account of a banquet for the Order of the Golden Fleece in Utrecht, January 1546, which featured an impressive array of 9 pâté varieties including heron, pigeon, venison, veal, turkey and hare. Our French game pâté pays tribute to this tradition with a savoury 180g jar of duck with orange pâté. Pairs perfectly on toasted brioche or crusty baguette slices, and enjoy with a glass of Sauternes or Pinot Noir. Please note, this product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
