Liberty Gift Wrap Book

Elegant wrapping paper reproducing six Liberty archive-designs: contemporary re-workings of the signature florals and Indian-inspired patterns which became associated with the London department store in the 1930s when they developed, what became known, as Tana Lawn-cotton, named for Lake Tana in Ethiopia where the original cotton fibre originated. Founded in 1875, Arthur Lasenby Liberty’s (1843-1917) fashionable department store set out ‘not to follow existing fashions but to create new ones’. Including the colourful floral design ‘June Blossom’ and ‘Tudor Belle’, in which florals are combined with architectural details inspired by the flagship store’s beams. Presented a folded sheets in a compact, book format; each sheet of gift wrap is perforated and easy to tear-out. Eye-catching designs to make gift-giving beautiful.
