Say it with flowers: correspondence cards that make a wonderful green fingered gift. Each card is made from sustainable, recycled consumer waste and is impregnated with a mix of wildflower seeds. Once you have enjoyed your card, simply tear it up, plant in a pot or tray beneath a shallow layer of compost, add water, sunshine and watch as seedlings appear. Enjoy Bird’s Eye, Clarkia, Black Eyed Susan, Catchfly, Snapdragon and Sweet Alyssum. Perfect to grow on a windowsill or, in warmer months, planted directly into the soil outside. Each card is printed on one side with an all-over design inspired by Victorian floral ephemera; the back of the cards is blank for your own message but includes a dainty printed detail on one edge. Delightful cards to see your good wishes bloom.

I bought these seed cards as a different kind of note card to send to friends and relatives who love gardening.
