Christmas cards showcasing a spellbinding selection of religious art from across the centuries. Mixing a detail from a medieval manuscript and Italian Renaissance masters with 16th and 18th century paintings, through to a stained glass panel from 1922. Exquisite details and timeless images to celebrate the Christmas story with all your loved ones. Includes ‘The Adoration of the Magi’, c.1440-60, by Fra Angelico (c.1395-1455) and Fra Filippo Lippi (c.1406-69); ‘Madonna of the Goldfinch’, c.1767-70, by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo (1696-1770); and ‘The Adoration of the Christ Child’, c.1515, by an artist of the Jan Joest of Kalkar School. Includes selections from art works now in the collections of the Rijksmuseum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, National Gallery of Art in Washington, and more.
