Description
Charming Easter cards reproducing images with forget-me-nots, daffodils and lily of the valley from original British and American postcards published c.1910; each with a genuine sixpence affixed to send good fortune with your Easter wishes. Touch-pieces, or lucky coins, have a long-association with Spring - from Maundy money, Holy Communion coins and 'May Blossom' coin-riven wishing trees. The fronts of the cards are printed with the original greetings: ‘Sweet Eastertide’; ‘Best wishes for Easter’; ‘May thine be a happy Easter’; and ‘The bells of the flowers that airily sway Ring sweetly this message for your Easter Day - A Joyful Easter To You’.
