Description
Atmospheric greetings cards capturing the many moods and colours of the British landscape in peerless 19th and early 20th century art. From J.M.W. Turner’s (1775-1851) 'Dummel (Tummel) Bridge, Fifeshire', 1812, and ‘View of Theale, Berkshire’, 1832, by John Constable (1776-1837); through to modern masters such as 'Thirlmere', 1914, by Paul Nash (1889-1946) and a view of the artist’s home at 'Red Cottage (or Brick House), Essex', 1927, by Eric Ravilious (1903-42). The original paintings and prints are now in the collections of the British Museum, the Yale Centre for British Art, and The Birmingham Museum.

Nice pictures, similar to other packs I've bought before from Museum Selection. Useful for male or female birthdays, thank you notes or other occasions. Don't like the packaging, however. It might be environmentally friendly, but quickly tears and no longer holds the cards, so I have to find another bag to put them in. Stiff paper might be better. This type of packaging does not decompose in my compost heaps and is annoying when it pops up in my garden years later.
