Pack of 30 cards celebrating ornithological characters, from gold finches and sparrows, to wrens, nightingales and blue tits. Reproducing 20th and 21st century paintings and illustrations by popular British artists, drawn from the archives of Royle Publications. Includes ‘Great Tit and Japonica’, by Sussex-artist Noël Hubert Hopking (1882-1964); ‘Barn Owlet with Lichen’, by Basil Ede (1931-2016); ‘Bullfinch & Apple Blossom’, by Hilary Burn (b.1946); and ‘Kingfisher’ by Lancashire-based artist W. Geoff Rollinson (b.1946). Royle Publications was one of the leading British greetings card companies in the post-war era, co-founded by visionary publisher Noel Carrington (1895-1989). Our beautiful bird cards are sure to delight any nature lover.
