20 Victorian Posy Cards

Petite greetings cards capturing 19th century posy-designs, originally sent as Valentine’s Day cards but which are perfect to celebrate occasions all year round. Reproducing cards in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the original chromolithograph designs from the 1870s featured paper lace, die-cutting and even mechanical details. Mixing posies of forget-me-nots, lily of the valley, roses, violets, primulas, and daisies, the elegant cards capture the colourful charm of the originals.
