20 Chintz Correspondence Cards

Elegant correspondence cards reproducing a cheerful mix of 18th century-chintz fabric designs. Lie-flat cards, each printed with a decorative design on one side and blank message space on the other. In a mix of sunny yellow, soothing blue and vibrant red and green, the original fabrics were created in India for export to Europe and, later, manufactured in France to emulate the fashionable look. The textiles are now in the collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Charmingly presented with a scalloped edge and decorative band holding the cards and envelopes together, the cards are perfect for notes to brighten someone’s day.
