Description
Elegant greetings cards reproducing a decorative printed label and envelope c.1890s. With gold foil details highlighting the dainty central frame, the cards are produced in three colourways of powder blue, aqua and cream. The reproduction also picks up printed details of the original embossed patterning which decorated the envelope. The floral centre includes pink roses, which symbolised gratitude in the Victorian Language of Flowers; alongside hellebores, for serenity; geraniums for good wishes; and bleeding heart-flowers for compassion; amongst many other flowers making a perennial bouquet to send your good wishes throughout the year.
