10 René Lalique Anemone Cards

Pack of 10 gold foil anemone cards reproducing an exquisite glass and enamel brooch or buckle, c.1899-1900, by French designer and goldsmith René Lalique (1860-1945). Echoing the gilded, shimmering finish of the original, the cards include gold foil and lustrous, biodegradable glitter, picking out the organic shapes of the frame, and the petals and buds of the flowers. Anemones, known as 'windflowers', symbolise 'anticipation' in the Victorian language of flowers and were a popular flower with Art Nouveau designers, making these cards an elegant choice to convey your good wishes.
