Description
Charming Easter cards to send your good wishes with timeless imagery from the archives of The Medici Society, founded 1908. A traditional mix of palm and floral crosses and religious imagery by leading British artists and illustrators of the 20th century. Includes a c.1940s illustration by Molly Brett (1902-1990), Easter angels by Edith Bertha Crapper (1896-1979), a floral frame with butterflies and a bumblebee by Audrey Tarrant (fl.1950s-1980s), and a detail from ‘Morning Carol, the Christ child surrounded by a wildlife and blossom’ by Margaret W. Tarrant (1888-1959).
