10 Deco Chickadee Easter Cards

Charming die-cut Easter cards reproducing a c.1920s greetings card. Possibly produced in America, the original card included a silk ribbon and hand-painted details within the dainty design of daffodils and chickadees; the American name for tits and finches and, memorably, the 1930s catchphrase - 'my little chickadee' - of comic actor W.C. Fields (1880-1946). Emulating the look of the original, the cards include a scalloped edge plus a cut-out detail around the edge of the printed bow, giving a realistic look to the ribbon. Printed ‘Happy Easter’ on the card-front, the elegant design is perfect to send your warmest Easter wishes.
