Opening in 1859, the collection now boasts three Edinburgh galleries to house the National, Modern and Portrait collections. Includes 'Still Life with Flowers and Fruit', c.1923-26, and ‘Cottages, Fife’, c.1924-24, by George Leslie Hunter (1877-1931); 'Santa Maria della Salute, Venice', 1910, and ‘The Blue Fan, c.1922, by Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell (1883-1937). Plus works by Samuel John Peploe (1871-1935) and John Duncan Fergusson (1874-1961).
