Smart bench cushion reproducing ‘Strawberry Thief’ designed by William Morris (1834-96) who was inspired by the thrushes visiting the kitchen garden of his countryside home Kelmscott Manor. Morris was one of the leading figures in the Arts & Crafts movement, and his company Morris & Co. were renowned for their stylised representations of flora and fauna. This cushion is cotton with a comfortable polyester back and filling, finished with ties ready to attach to your chosen chair. I could not be more pleased with my bench cushion, and have had compliments about it. In fact my sister did not want to sit on it in case she spoiled it! Beautiful colours copied from the Morrisons design just shine out. The deep buttoning do nothing to take from the overall appearance.
