Enhance your garden with our De Morgan Hare Silhouette Stake, an intricately detailed metal silhouette with a faux rust finish that echoes the decorative motifs of William De Morgan. A lifelong friend of William Morris, De Morgan's Arts and Crafts ceramics were influenced by medieval and Islamic art. From 1863 to 1872, he designed tiles, stained glass, and furniture for Morris & Co., often incorporating medieval or Islamic patterns and innovative glazes. This elegant garden stake will naturally weather over time.

This is a similar style to the squirrel and I love the hare ornament as much as the squirrel version. I thought the hare down on the ground would compliment the squirrel ornament which will be placed higher up. Looking forward to getting both into the garden.
I sent the hare silhouette to a friend last year and she loved it.

The hare looks very pretty but I was very surprised by the flimsy nature of the metal body. it is barely as thick as a piece of card and bent over in the wind once out in my garden. i do like it so do not want to return it , but want to make you aware of the above. Also , it was packaged in what looked like a bigger box folded over to cover it, sufficient to stop damage in transit but it was not in keeping with the high quality of goods advertised in the catalogue and neither was the hare itself.
