Morris Cray Memo Cube

A handsome memo cube, complete with a useful drawer, decorated with ‘Cray’, a Morris and Co textile design from 1884, which features deep red flowers on a dark navy background. One of a series of designs named for rivers, ‘Cray’ was an unusually complex, layered print which required 34 printing blocks to create the original design. Presented with a contrasting, cream-patterned lift-up lid and drawer-front, the cube bears the letters WM in Kelmscott Press-style lettering. With 400 sheets of memo paper, the cube is ideal for taking notes or making shopping lists.
