Description
Striking hand-enamelled and crystal-set, this pendant recalls the use of fan motifs in Chinese decorative arts, symbolising grace. The fan's history can be traced back to the Shang Dynasty (1600-1046 BC), where it was a symbol of wealth, status, and power. It became a popular accessory among the upper class during the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD). Featuring a bamboo leaf design inspired by a 19th-century lacquer tray, our Qing Enamel Fan Pendant is finished with a free-moving iridescent agate drop.

Very pretty pendant. Unusual style. Looks good on a plain jumper or t-shirt.
