Ghiberti Enamel Bangle

Striking hand-enamelled costume bangle decorated with red and yellow flowers on a dark green base, recalls the intricate 16th-century Italian metalwork by Lorenzo Ghiberti (1378-1455). Known for the bronze doors of the Florence Baptistery, Ghiberti's work initiated a golden age of bronze casting in Florence, spanning the Renaissance to the Baroque era.
