Costume, gold-tone brooch in the shape of a Boteh, delicately inlaid with multicoloured crystals. The Boteh motif, often seen in Persian and Indian art, is believed by design scholars to represent a stylised convergence of a floral spray and a cypress tree, and is a Zoroastrian symbol of life and eternity.
