Fine glass hanging egg decoration beautifully blending artistry and tradition. The bright floral printed design is reminiscent of late-Victorian embroidery motifs and pays homage to the long-standing tradition of hanging egg decorations, a custom that originated in Germany. German glass-making regions, initially established for Christmas decorations, began creating baubles for other seasonal celebrations, including Easter, during the 19th century. Hang in your home to celebrate Easter festivities.

The patterns are only transfers on the glass and so less attractive than one would imagine.

A pretty egg, larger than I'd realised, so won't fit in an egg box with creme eggs at Easter as I'd intended, as a gift! But will still be gifted, in a box of its own (not provided).
