Charming rocking horse decorations hung from twine. German Christmas tree decorations became popular in Victorian Britain following the marriage of Queen Victoria and German Prince Albert - who loved Christmas. Original decorations would have included dried fruit, candies and strands of popcorn. Rocking horses were a traditional gift given to children on Christmas morning, and this set includes one red horse and one white horse, both with a miniature Teddy Bear and present underneath.
