What's this I see? Magnetic magnifying glass shaped like a pair of brown spectacles recalling glasses from the 1940s and 50s. This magnifying glass is handy for anyone who reaches for their glasses whenever there is small print to read. 'Temple glasses', which were worn rather than held, were developed sometime before 1727 - but they became popular from the early 20th century when people discovered the practicality in keeping your hands free. The brown glasses are an amusing lorgnette of the kind that Hinge & Brackett might weild. They usefully attach to any metal surface, being magnetic, and are not easily lost. More seriously, they are excellent magnifiers and can be used to read small print, e.g. medical instructions.
