Handsome hand-enamelled pewter clock based on a design by Archibald Knox (1864 -1933), pioneering and prolific, Knox's work bridged the Arts and Crafts movement, Art Nouveau and Celtic Revival. Knox designed pewter pieces for Liberty of London , known as Tudric from 1899. Made in England by A E Williams est 1779.

Is a lovely looking item and keeps good time the only thing that worries me is the fact that the hands are not protected and could see them being caught when dusting etc and they look quite flimsy, some type of clip on cover would have given me more confidence in the product.
