Petite enamel clock inspired by the vibrant colours of the painted murals at the maharaja's palace in Dehradun, nestled in the Himalayan foothills. This clock pays tribute to the influence of Indian decorative arts on British taste, stemming from the Great Exhibition of 1851. The exhibition ignited a fascination with Indian aesthetics among the British public, and this hand-enamelled, crystal-set pewter clock with a lightly aged marble effect face beautifully captures the historical blend of cultures.

Beautiful ornate little clock. Have bought for a gift so if problems I will update the review but I checked it over before gift giving, and the colours and design, along with sturdiness of the clock all seemed perfect. The colours are less bright than the online/magazine advertise but are still lovely. Just need to put it in sunlight if you want same effect! The person who received the clock was really thrilled so overall, really nice item.

Looks good but I have had to stick a few beads on as they came off as I unwrapped it. Stuck back on so is perfect now

The clock was very well presented and looked excellent from the front, i did not realise the was black plastic and not metal
There was a problem putting the battery in which is not supplied. I contacted the company and both staff members were very helpful . They sent me a plan and it was merely inserting your finger nail to gain access and put in battery.
It looks expensive but at £30 good value. In fact i bought my two granddaughters one each for their birthdays.

It was a pretty clock, but the clock face was stained as if it had been stored in a damp place. I returned it for a refund.
