Glass sphere intricately decorated inside with a beautiful depiction of a dandelion clock. The earliest evidence for the use of this term is found in 'Dandelion Clocks and Other Tales' from Aunt Judy's Magazine by Juliana Horatia Ewing, circa 1887. This night light is illuminated by an amber tone LED with three intensity levels, providing a warm and soothing glow. photo on site is misleading . The clock night is elegant but the light is bluish, too cold. Nothing like the warm, amber light I saw on the picture.

I bought this for myself as I often get up in the night, and the nightlight can be (carefully) carried as well as keeping it on a surface. I love the dandelion clock so beautifully crafted in the solid glass sphere, the simple wooden base, and the whole nightlight makes a lovely ornament when not in use. I like the three light settings and Off function, all so easy and instant to use. A truly quality item to be enjoyed, and I intend to buy these as gifts for family and friends for their Special Birthdays. A delight to have in the home and so very useful.
