Woven Paisley Throw

Woven paisley throw in a rich mix of burgundy, burnt orange and blue recalls the Victorian fascination with the paisley pattern, which became synonymous with British decorative arts. The intricate boteh designs, originating from Kashmiri shawls, were adopted and adapted by Scottish weavers, particularly in Paisley, Scotland. By the late 19th century, paisley patterns were ubiquitous in British textiles.
