Description
Luxurious throw reproducing one of William Morris’s (1834–1896) most recognisable designs, 'Tree of Life' c.1910. Morris was one of the leading figures in the Arts & Crafts movement, and his company Morris & Co. were renowned for their stylised representations of flora and fauna. This pattern depicts the tree of life surrounded by florals in cream and navy blue tones. The tree of life represents the afterlife, and the connection between the earth and heaven. Each throw contains 8 miles of cotton, jacquard-woven for vibrant colour and durability, with fringing on all sides.
