Description
Attractive tapestry cushion inspired by 'lanthe', 1902, created by renowned French Art Nouveau designer, René Beauclair (1877-1960). The Art Nouveau style relied heavily on plants and flowers for inspiration, emphasising a flat, two-dimensional depiction. In 1900, Beauclair published his portfolio ‘Dessins d'Ornementation plane en couleurs’ which contained a number of designs intended for reproduction on textiles and glass. ‘Ianthe’ was originally designed to be a wallpaper design, and was first printed for Liberty in 1967. One of Beauclair’s most reproduced designs, this cushion brings this enduring design to your living room.

2 excellent cushions, match my decor really well, very happy with the quality, but having bought from Museum Selection quite a few times before, it is what you would expect.Excellent purchase case, quite expensive, but worth the money.
