These candles are beautiful. I am really pleased with them. However, please note that the instruction on the bottom of each candle (for inserting the batteries) is NOT to be followed. Do not try to open using the catch to which the arrow points (stating 'open'), as the base plate needs to be unscrewed using the tiny screw! I fiddled around for ages before I realised this.
