Pretty cotton nightdress evocative of late Victorian originals with tonal embroidery based on 19th century needlework patterns. With pintucking and embroidery on the front bodice and finished with frills, this elegant nightdress recalls the popular designs of the 19th century that came over from France. This nightdress has a round neck with lace trim around the edge and sleeves with pin tuck and inserted lace detail, echoing the hand sewn embellishments that Victorian seamstresses would add to garments.
