Description
Jolly socks with a scattering of mixed blooms on a mint green ground, echoing 1930s textile prints from the Calico Printers' Association Ltd. This was a British textile company founded in 1899 from the amalgamation of 46 textile printing companies and 13 textile merchants. The company at its inception accounted for over 80% of Britain’s output of printed cloth and they continued to produce textiles until 1968. This design captures the dainty nature of blooming spring flowers, typical of 1930s repeating prints. These pretty socks are made of a cotton/spandex/polyester mix.
